Capstone: Final Demonstration of Competency

The Transition From Student to Practitioner

The Empowered Recovery Coach Certification Capstone is designed to assess your ability to apply the Empowered Recovery framework in a real-world coaching setting with professionalism, presence, ethical integrity, and confidence.

This is not a written exam or theoretical assignment. The capstone is a practical demonstration of your readiness to guide individuals through meaningful personal growth and behavior change conversations within appropriate coaching scope.

Your submission represents the transition from learning the framework… to embodying it.

Participants are expected to demonstrate the ability to:

  • Build rapport and psychological safety

  • Maintain ethical coaching boundaries

Final Encouragement

You do not need to be perfect to become impactful.

Clients are not looking for someone who has every answer — they are looking for someone who can hold space with integrity, guide reflection with compassion, and help them reconnect with the version of themselves they are becoming.

This capstone is your opportunity to demonstrate not only what you have learned… but who you are becoming as a coach, leader, and facilitator of meaningful change.
